Why A Ladybird π
Ladybirds are also incredible for the environment. They play a vital role in keeping gardens and ecosystems in balance. Their natural ability to control pests, especially aphids and other harmful insects, is crucial for helping plants thrive. In the absence of these tiny creatures, many gardens and crops would struggle to thrive.
For me, they symbolize harmony and the quiet resilience of nature, something I aim to reflect in my ceramics. Including a ladybird in each piece feels like a connection to those childhood memories and a reminder of the importance of caring for the natural world. Itβs my trademark that speaks to fond childhood memories and a reminder of how much better off we all are both mentally and physically when we embrace it.
